96-97 Skybox Autos question...
So whats up with this set...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Nick Anderson is $20! I was able to get my other 3 Nick autos for under $10 all together..
how rare are they I see there is a blue and black one which is the sp one or are they both Sp'd? in my time searching for Nick I have seen maybe 4 in all blue but this one.
Thanks
Brandon

That signature from Anderson is exceptional for that card, maybe thats why it has so many bids. As far as Autographics goes from 96-98, I'm not familiar with it myself since I was still just a kid..

Look how much this Oakley went for even. The autograph is faded in the beginning of his signature even. Wished I could've got it

It´s a great looking set, so i guess there are many people after these cards. What´s the print run?

I'm not sure how many certified autos. Oakley has but so far thats the only one I've seen. Funny though, after that auction ended, a same Oakley auto like that popped up. However, the auto in this one looks worse than the one that sold. So, I'm not sure if I want to bid on it...it looks so weird...

Oakley autos are rare! I've been trying to get one of those myself (in fact I'm actually one of the bidders bidding on that right now)
96-97 Skybox is a really neat auto set. Lots of old school 90's guys, I don't collect the entire set, but do collect relevant 90's players like Nick Anderson and etc., I'm sure many people are the same.
As for the Nick Anderson's, many of his autos seem to sell decent at random times, and yeah that one signature on that card is spectacular!

As the years pass on, the autographs of popular players who only have 1-2 issues from the mid-90s are going up quite a bit.

old post I know but 96-97 was the first was the first time autos on cards really came out on a brand other than something like classic. I remember when this set came out. The only one I ever pulled was an Antonio McDyess which sold to a LCS for $75 and an Iverson card. At the time these things were HOTTTTT
