Rainbow help
I've noticed lately a lot of members are referring to another rainbow in their collection. Until now I understood rainbow as being certain parallels from some sets. But when I see members use the term for some new items they get or completed. So at times I'm getting puzzled.
If anyone wants to help me out with this, please respond to explain the new meanings behind the term.

This would be considered a rainbow since it has the base and all parallels

Bingo as explained above.
A simple example would be MVP, Victory, or UD
For MVP - You get the Base, Gold Script, and Super Script...you've completed the rainbow
Victory - Base, Gold, Black
UD - Base, Exclusives, High Gloss

what they said, and sometimes you get an insert that is a rainbow parallel like in opc you have the retro rainbow parallel /100. Its not a a complete rainbow like as in a few cards but the card has a glow like a rainbow so it is called the rainbow parallel. Hope that helps a bit

Rainbow has a broad definition for cards. Like others above have mentioned getting all versions of a card is a completed rainbow. For myself when i hear rainbow i think of the Cup rainbow such as this one below. It includes regular , gold rainbow , parallel /25 and black rainbow 1/1. Cheers Joel
