All in all I was a little disapointed after the Pristine Pack and the 3 Absolute Memoribilia packs. When the first pack of Finest only had an unnumbered Payton Manning Jersey card I thought I was in for another big money investment for cards I could have purchased on the secodary market for $20. Then obviously, when I saw Big Ben's distinctive Autograph in the 3rd Pack of the second Finest box I could not belive it. After that I did not expect much from the last box of Finest but was happy with the Vick #'d to 50 and thrilled with the Losman Auto numbered to 199 (since I'm a Buffalo Fan and really liked what I saw of Losman in Training Camp and the preseason).
These pulls on top of the fact that I thought I had my pull of the year a few weeks ago when I got a 2 Color Eli Manning Fleer Hot Prospects Autograph are beginning to make me think my luck is changing...I hope I did'nt just jinx myself by saying that...
I think I will try to complet the Finest base Rookie set since they are not too expensive or hard to come by and they are very nice looking.
As far as the Big Ben...the AU's #399 are selling for $200 - $300 on Ebay...so I'm tempeted but I think I going to keep it and maybe get it graded. After all, I would probably spend the $300 and not have a chance of getting a card close to the long term potential of the Roethlisberger (I know I could probably repurchase one in the off-season for 1/2 the current going price but will not take the chance).
Well anyway, thanks for taking the time to read my long story...
Joe
