I Have A Vault Of MLB Cards
Whats going on fella's? I just found a box I had stashed away for a while and I was hoping you guys can help me. I want to sell these and I've been out of card trading for a while and don't know the best place. I have thousands of cards MLB NBA and some NFL.
I have hundreds of MLB cards from the 80's and 90's. Nolan ryan, pete rose a lot of good stuff.
Topps
87-88 88-89 89-90 90-91
Score
88 and 92
Donruss
89-90 90-91
I have the upper deck 1991 team holograms set.
I also have Hundreds of the 1990 wonder stars (from wonder bread) And the 1993 Hostess cards. My father worked for hostess and I have several complete sets. I even have hundreds of unopened packets there are 32 cards in the set. Each pack has 16 cards. I even have thousands of the unopened 3 card packs too (the ones sold with the cake)! I see some ebay listings have these cards for $1-3 a piece, but I don't want to open the packets. Where would I go to find a buyer for these bad boys?
I always took good care of the cards so they are in great condition, Let me know if anyone needs anything!
Great to be here!

Unfortunately, the 1986-1993 era was that of insane overproduction by the major card manufacturers, and aside from 1987 Fleer and 1989 Upper Deck, there is very little from those years that rates more than common card values. For most of those years and sets, you can still pick up unopened wax boxes for less than $10 and as low as $5 for boxes of 1988, 89, 90, 91 Topps or 1988, 1990-91 Donruss. The same goes for the NBA Hoops and Fleer basketball sets from 1990-91 and later, and definitely for all of the NFL ProSet cards, Score after 1989, Topps after 1988.
The same can be said for the 1993 Hostess cards. I absolutely loved those Hostess Baseballs and was very disappointed they didn't bring them back the next year. However, you can pick up ever card in the set on Sportlots.com for less than $0.20 each, regardless of player. I can't believe how many of those are out there, we as a collective, must have been eating a ton of those tasty frosted, cream-filled baseballs.
It is odd that un-opened packs of the stuff will sell for more than any possible combination of 3 cards from the set would be worth (even if you somehow got three Griffeys or Bagwells in the same pack). Maybe it's just for the novelty.
The Wonder Bread cards you might have a little more luck with as the market was never really buried in them, but they're still not hard to find. I'd probably try listing some of the Wonder Bread cards on Sportlots, but you're unlikely to sell in enough volume to make any real money.

Nate, I hate to break it to you, but most of the cards that you listed were so mass produced that they are hard to give away! The Hostess/Wonder Bread cards may generate a little interest with certain collectors, but you would have to have access to a large number of collectors to accomplish selling them all. I would think that the best bet for you would be to find a "sports card show" in your area and see if any of the dealers would be interested. There may also be a card shop in your area that may be able to help you out. Beyond those ideas, eBay, or a site like this, but it would take a while to move them all like that!
That is my humble opinion.........
