Great Monday for me!! 2 returns, 1 unsigned return...

First the unsigned came from John Elway. Knew it was a long shot but seen some returns so thought it was worth the stamps. He did send a PP card back. oh well, That window didnt stay open long.. lol


Next, Terry Bradshaw, 2/2, out 8-24-10, back 3-7-11. One signed in Blue, one signed in Black. Very nice to come home & see a Bradshaw return. Let the ghost signer debate begin

& last, My first ever, Baseball ST return.... Mark McGwire, 1/1, out 2-28, back 3-7. Incredible how fast this came back. I had seen some successes from him so gave it a shot. Thought for sure i would never see this card again. I will bet Mark is getting BOMBED with fan mail now that there are signed returns coming back from ST. Maybe Big Mac turned over a new leaf & is signing regularly. I Hope so.. Hate to see that window of opportunity go away.

I guess I should try to get one out in the morning--even though I know better, he'll sign for 5 people at that's it will be my guess. Gonna try it though. Already wasted plenty of stamps on ST requests I won't see again, what's one more right?

Mac i am 100% sure is legit. His ST sig matches other sigs from past in person signings so im pretty confident on that one.

Bradshaw on the other hand, I have heard both sides. I have yet to see any convincing evidence that leads me to believe he has a ghost signer. I have done my research & believe he doesnt but who knows. I do know that his in person stuff looks a lot like his TTM stuff. Another point with a ghost signer would be, why does his request take 6+ months to come back? His ghost that busy to sign? Another good argument, someone made the point of asking why wouldnt he just RTS of return the items unsigned or just throw them away if he had zero intentions of signing stuff.

Long story short, Until i see a video of him saying " I have never signed anything TTM, my brother, or mother or whoever signs all auto request for me" I'll believe they are legit.

While I saw enough Favre evidence to determine Brett's short-lived generosity to be Casper worthy, I do not believe Bradshaw's "Ghost" accusations. I've read enough about him to know he is a hermit except when he is in-studio doing broadcasts.....I'm sure he enjoys some fanmail.

Ha, hope so. Sent one earlier today. Guess we'll see. I'd imagine my letter will fight right in nicely with the stack of 300 other letters he'll get in three days.
