Lets not go bashing the vikes signing habits. Just because like 3 people on the team don't want to sign doesn't mean that the team is bad. there are plenty of good signers on there.

got 1 success today & 1 returned unsigned.. but i had a feeling..

unsigned came back from Frank Robinson.. I know, I know.. but if you dont try you wont know.. Sent via the commissioners office. returned in 12 days. Post marked from Los Angeles so maybe they forwarded it to him atleast. was worth the stamps.

success came from Tom Kelly. 2/2, out 9-9, back 9-22.. glad to add this great manager to the collection. Anyone feel he has a shot at the HOF? I'm not really sure what it takes for Managers to get in the HOF but with 2 WS tittles, maybe that counts for something?

My thoughts there are...it's perfectly fine if they don't want to sign. They don't owe anybody anything...but then return the mail or throw it away. Don't have some secretary forge a signature...

Thanks man.. Gerhart ended up sending me back a phony signed card. Deadhorse did a great job of pointing this out. after doing some comparisons & searches on ebay, was pretty clear he didnt sign my card. Hope its an isolated incident this time & doesnt become a habit.

NA$CAR day today... 2 success...

First, Email success from Darrell Wallace jr, sent email on 9-16, came on 9-23. Very quick for an email success.. He is in the minor leagues right now ( K&N pro series) but has potential. Won some races & had some strong finishes, Hope he has a lot of success...



last, David Reutimann 2/2, out 4-12, back 9-23.. Actually forgot about these. Haven't looked at my NA$CAR section of my records for sometime. Haven't sent anything to drivers in awhile so this was a pleasant surprise.

Great day today to cap off a fantastic week.. Had a success every day this week & that doesnt seem to happen very often..

first success.. Alex Karras 2/2, out 9-2, back 9-24.. Sign the front of my cards this time. for those that dont remember he signed the back of my cards a month or so ago so i re-sent..

2nd, Bobby Doerr 2/2, out 9-13, back 9-24. One with a HOF inscription, 1 without. Look great, very pleased with these..

3rd, Dolph Schayes. 1/1, out 9-17, back 9-24.. Great success.. Sent to him awhile ago & he signed my other card so small, you could hardly see it. Glad to finally add a great looking card of his to my HOF collection. sad part is, For the postage i have sent over time, probably could have just bought a cert card but oh well.

last, Yogi Berra 1/1, out 9-13, back 9-24.. Always love to see a Yogi success come in. seems to be so hit or miss.. Glad to add another of his..
