Very nice pick ups recently Riggs!

I didn't know this about Moyer but he has pitched to 8% of all major leaguers since his rookie season. I know that number seems low but if you think about it, thats a lot of major leaguers to have come through since his rookie season. The next closest pitcher is no where near 8%.

Damn... no wonder my back's been hurting lately.

Jamie Moyer is the fountain of youth. I had cards of him when I was 5 years old. Now I'm 30. If you would have handed me the entire 1987 Donruss set and had told me one guy will be still playing when you are 30 I would have thought that person was nuts.

Agreed. Hope he pitches effectively a few more years.

Yeah the Long's are bogus (Kinda like his inflated sack numbers!)

Nice Moyer's though. It's so impressive that he's still on a major league roster, let alone starting, let alone pitching some good games. I mean, there's high schoolers throwing harder than he is right now, and he's still getting it done at a decent level. Amazing.

It really is incredible. Great to see him get a spot in that rotation & pitch the way he does. Hope he holds up the entire season & does well.

Awesome returns from Moyer...I like that Donruss card the best. His stats disagree, but I think he belongs in Cooperstown just for being able to do what he's done for so long. It's not like he's a hitter that can just move to the DH spot to extend his career.

I'd love to see him pitch a few more years myself. not sure what Cooperstown requirements are to get enshrined are but if he can get to 300 wins, i cant imagine there are many ( if any ) pitchers with 300 wins to there name, not in the HOF.

I actually heard that the other day on the Jim Rome show & that is a pretty amazing stat. 8% of ALL MLBers to ever pick up a bat. amazing.

ahhh Fat jokes huh.. Thanks for the comments.. with the returns of late, has given me a new found excitement for the TTM hobby.

    3 returns today..

1st, Bruce Taylor 2/2, out 4-16, back 5-3. Told him to keep 1 but sent both back signed. also asked for " 70 DEF ROY " for an inscription but no dice.

2nd, Rex Kern 2/2, out 4-21, back 5-3. great return for the colts pc collection. Mr Kern also took the time to add " CFHOF 2007 " as requested. great return.

last, Pete Retzlaff 2/2, out 4-25, back 5-3. Been wanting to send to him for quite awhile & finally found some cards at a decent price. He has a very nice signature & thrilled to add him to the collection.

Awesome return from Kern...I've been wanting to send to him, just don't have much for him. Interestingly enough, I never knew he played defensive back in the pros. Always knew him as an old OhiO State quarterback!

I love Rex Kern. I have an OSU throwback jersey of him. I was not alive when he played but my dad told me all about him when I was a kid and grew up watching "the Ten Year war" on VHS. He was great.

Yeah, Theres a lot to be said about an athlete that plays QB in college & sets good enough numbers to be in the CFHOF, then go pro & switch positions to cornerback and safety, Shows just how much of an athlete he really was. Shame his career ended due to injury's.

    2 today...

1st, Deron Williams 3/3, out 3-7, back 5-4. Really pumped to get these back. was hoping they would show up but at the end of the season, you just never know. Especially him. Not sure if he will be with the Nets next years or not. Very happy.

2nd, Vern Law 1/2, out 4-27, back 5-4. Very quick return.Added " Cy Young 1960" as requested Mr Law also sent back a not saying he is sorry but only could sign one. He went on to say " So much of my stuff has ended up on ebay, Hope you understand." Also asked that if i would like the other card signed to please re-send along with an $8 fee he would like.. Another fantastic TTM gone because of the big feebay buisness. what a shame.

Those D-Wills look fantastic...meant to send to him, but that was during my dead period when I didn't send anything out. I love how that Hot Prospects turned out!
