Favorite fighter thread ....
Just curious as to who is everyone's favorite fighter. I know it's hard to narrow it down to one, but that's what I'm asking for. Who is your favorite fighter and why?
Mine is Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. I enjoyed watching him fight during his Pride days because I liked seeing a heavyweight that could use the submission game to his advantage. Nog is the mainstay of my PC and I'm always looking to add more of his cards to my collection.

Sugar Rashad Evans
My first ever event was the one where he knocked out Salmon with the head kick, and when he knocked out Chuck I was sold. Plus he's a very level headed guy for the most part and has tweeted me back twice haha.

Dan Outlaw Hardy
First PPV I watched full was UFC111 and his never giving up and "don't know the meanin' of tap" speech after the fight sold me. Unfortunately it's been hard year and half since then.

I'll say Fedor, because i get more excited to watch when he's fighting compared to anyone else. After him probably Wanderlei, Tito, and Eddie Alvarez.

Chuck Liddell,
I got into watching MMA because of Chuck, the excitement and commitment to finishing a fight, its unfortunate his chin is shot and couldnt go out on top

Brock Lesnar
The guy is a pure beast inside the cage. Followed him since his pro wrestling days in OVW, then the WWE. Not to mention his don't give a crap attitude and ability to stir up controversy whenever he opens his mouth. A pure "Heel" in pro wrestling terms.

Roger Huerta-What he went through as a kid and for him to come out of it strong and on the right path. WOW! He seems to be a stand up guy too. Have you all seen the video where he stands up for that girl?

Alltime? Kazushi Sakuraba and Carlos Newton stand out as two of my favorites. I know it dates me a bit, but if you go back and watch some of the old Pride events, guys like Saku and Ronin were constantly looking for ways to evolve the sport past punches and kicks. The fight where Sakuraba first tried the jumping foot stomp I think was a huge step forward (no pun intended) toward exposing the capabilities of the sport, and their clash together stands out as possibly my favorite fight of all time. I don't often get excited over much, but I could hardly contain my excitement in meeting Newton a couple weeks back.
Nowadays, I keep a lot of the same "must watch" guys as many of you and I rarely miss a UFC or Strikeforce event, but I really like the guys looking to take the sport and the fight game into the next level...guys like Rory MacDonald and Jon Jones...
...but I still mark hard for some of the grizzled vets like Dan Henderson :D

Have to say Jon Jones to watch and Collect just cause he's a little unorthadox in the cage. He kinda looks awkward but, is a beast. Anderson coming a close second alot of people don't like him but, after that Sonnen fight you can't argue with his ability and heart as a fighter.
