With all the signings, I have 2 comments:
1. Releasing hockey products during the summer is stupid
2. Victory should come out later (like end of September) so they get most of the changes in.

I'll take Connolly for 2 years rather than Richards for 9 years. Thank you Brian Burke for not being a typical stupid leafs gm. :)

9 years is too much but look what Richards has done compared to Connolly. He didn't make it in NY and in Buffalo he hasn't played a full season in 5 years.
9.5 is a lot of money to be spending on him.

It will be interesting to see if he survives his games against Buffalo without injuries...if Regehr's track record against Hemsky is any indication, Connolly could in for a rough homecoming.

and the booing is going to be so much worse for him than it has even been on Drury, Briere, Soupy, and other former Sabres that left town.
