Well, that's the tricky part. Since the cards he has would be great additions to your PC and they are tough to get, I would wait a little longer and hope he messages you back. I would even send another message, who cares if he doesn't like the fact you are continuing to ask him about it? If he continues to ignore the messages, then I would just try to look elsewhere and hope you can find some other nice Canes stuff from someone else.

I'm not new at this forum and I don't do a lot of trades but I need a saying in this question and the word is PATIENCE sometimes people get sick, works, have kids and so on. I for one has a small kid and run my own company so sometimes it takes a while before I respond on PMs.

If he doesn't respond there's not much you can do but let go. If he eventually gets back to you, awesome, but there's plenty of other copies of those cards out there and you'll find a way to land them. :)
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I for one can say that although I try to be as diligent and keep up with all my mpms, messages, shipments and payments, the odd time home life does push these things to the side. I think most members are very understanding of this, and have been thankful to a couple of members for their patience. I make my best effort to respond even if it is as simple as "not interested" to eery message sent my way, more as a courtesy than anything else. And I would expect the same from anyone I am dealing with. Thats just my 2 cents

I had a similar incident recently so I feel your pain.
Took a week to work out a deal. A tonne of back and forth. It was for a very expensive card and I was prepared to dramatically overpay. Finally after got a note saying "post it up", I did. Nothing for a few days. Finally sent another note a while later only to find out he sold it to another board member.
Oh well, luckily the next day found another member with one and it was nothing but class all the way! Not to mention the deal was much more fair...lol!
Point is, sometimes it works out in ways you weren't expecting.
Good luck, hope it works out for you.

just never trade with him, even if he wants your cards maybe?
i am pretty bad at giving offers, and if its too low, people take it the wrong way, and ignore.
its frustrationg because they say, "no i wont give you a price, you have to give me an offer", then i give an offer (on a card that has never been on ebay, i dont have beckett and i go by similar comparisons.)
then they ignore because it was too low.
if they are ignoring you, then chances are they wont sell the cards.
