Need some Redemption advice?

So here is the deal. Back in January I sent in a redemption for the following card.

10/11 Limited Richard Broduer GL Canucks Gold Moniker Auto/25


It is still pending. So I called Panini and they told me this. I can either wait on the card as he is under contract to sign. Or I can request a replacement card at the same value. Well the BV just dropped on it to $25. So is it worth it to request a replacement of my PC players or not? I collect Skinner and Hossa mostly but I do collect Eberle and Seguin a little. But the problem I see is that any of those player's cards at $25 BV isn't going to be very good? So does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks in advance, Brad.

Go for the Hossa of similar Value, should get a nice card!

If it was me, I'd wait on the Brodeur, but I'm a Canucks fan.

I had a certified Shattenkirk auto/jersey prime/25 and they sent me a kadri phenoms auto /299.

Obv not the same value.

So that's 2 for waiting and 2 for requesting a replacement. Anyone else have an opinion on this? I would wait for it if I thought it would be easily traded. He is not PC and I don't know if there will be a lot of interest in him. That is why I am leaning towards a replacement.

Now the only problem with a replacement is if they don't have anything in the players I request then I have to pick a team/teams. Don't really want them to send me a crappy player from the Hawks or Pens? I know there are good players on both teams but at a $25 BV I'm sure I won't get one of the good ones?

I know they will let you pick a TEAM for replacements, but I'm not sure about players.

Unless you really want that Brodeur, I'd say see what sort of trade bait you can get out of it. That's what I did.

When I asked for a replacement, the lady on the phone told me that I could not pick any team. 2days later, I got an email from Panini saying wich team I would like.

I said: Montreal and Pitsburgh.

I got Kadri from Toronto.... Oh well.

Okay! I have decided on monday that I am going to request a replacement for the Broduer. I will let you guys know what I get when I receive the replacement from Panini. Thanks for all the feedback, Brad.

I had my Derek Stepan Freshman fabrics signatures card replaced with a Jordan Staal Fabric of the game auto and an Ales Hemsky fabric of the game auto. It seems fair to me. I asked for a list of possible replacement cards though.
