eBay Package empty - anyone dealt with this user before?
Well if anyone saw my thread with a Gretzky IP auto incoming, it finally showed up back home in Newfoundland (forgot to change my address before paying). I was waiting for 2 weeks first when i asked the guy and without me even asking he just sends a refund automatically, so i said fine ill deal with that, it was only 10$ anyways so no big deal. The package finally shows up so dad just called and i told him to open it, and it was 2 empty top loaders inside and thats IT. Was suppose to be an auto'd gretzky Donruss Studio card and 2 4x6 auto'd photos, one of Johnny Bower and one of Emile Francis. If anyone wants to be aware of this ebay user, its jagosta72

Seems like a lot of effort for $10.00. Was the package tampered with? And did it go through Quebec?

haha maybe dad did do it :P nah hes got no time for that lol, and it did go through quebec, as it had to make its way to newfoundland. If I made a complaint and told my story to Canada Post would they do anything in the means of compensation? Just out of curiosity. Has anyone else had this problem?

If you paid on Paypal do a Paypal claim saying item never arrived. CanadaPost requires the person that sent the item start an investigation, so if you call there they likely won't help much. Didn't you say the seller refunded you already though?

Yeah he did refund which is what made it weird. I told him after 10 days i didnt receive and was only asking what day he sent, and hes like "oh im a big carer about business so heres your refund" without me asking. After 10 days? Cmon, something strange there.

I'm gonna say he didn't like the price he got for the cards, sent an empty envelope so he could say they were stolen somewhere (makes him look better than just not sending), and the cards are on his desk right now waiting to be relisted.

Well to top this off, it probably was tampered with, but now i definitely blame the ebay user. It was sent from the US, so it had to across North America and the moron wrote on the light packet slip 3 Gretzky Autos LOL. For one theres only 1 in there, with a bower and emile francis, and for 2 WHO DOES THAT? Cmon really, if you have any common sense you dont write there is a gretzky auto inside especially sent regular mail. How stupid can some people be
