Good morning Andrew,I keep having this bad feeling that they lose tonights game 3-2 and A.J. gives up 5 runs in the first inning of game 4 to take us out early, just hoping it doesn't play out that way.

That's more the way I expect yankees fans to talk about Burnett.
The benefit is that AJ follows CC, who should help the bullpen rest a bit. Girardi is going to have to handle AJ a lot differently than he did in the regular season. He left him out there a few times just to see if he could get himself out of trouble (and he couldn't), and he won't do that in the playoffs. But if CC can't go deep into the game tonight, he might be in serious trouble tomorrow.

I still think A.J. should start game 3 and let C.C. pitch game 4,I'd rather give up game 3 than pin the Yankees hopes of keeping the series alive on A.J.

I wonder how much of it has to do with setting up the rotation for the ALCS - I know you don't make it a priority, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. And I don't like conceding games - if you beat Verlander you're in great shape, even having used CC, so you have to give it a shot.

I know the Yankees thinking in this set up,if they can get a win out of C.C. and close out the Tigers in 4 it will have them sitting pretty for the A.L. Championship series.I also think it is putting all your eggs in one basket,as if C.C. loses they will never see another series.

I think if the Yankees won last night, they might've just let Burnett pitch today, hoping that he would somehow win tonight and if not they'd have the favorable matchup tommorow, however now, the matchup is in the Tigers favor for games 3 and 4, so the pressure on CC is huge, I don't think anyone realistically thinks Burnett will do very well tommorow

Down but not dead, we can beat any team two games in a row. I never get negative about the Yankees until they are out.

You really have that much confidence in AJ Burnett? You are braver than me lol

Tigers lineup:
Jackson CF
Santiago 2B
Young LF
Cabrera 1B
Martinez DH
Ordonez RF
Peralta SS
Avila C
Inge 3B
(Verlander P)
Like Santiago playing, 100x better option, if only Inge were out it'd be perfect.

i think everyone is forgetting that rick porcello is pitching tomorrow. i wouldnt be surprised if it is a bullpen game by the 4th inning for both teams, in which case, I will take the Yankees.
On that note....this is why you make the big bucks CC....earn it tonight.
