yes everyone ships in on touch when the card is over 60-75$, its protects the card better and the guys who receives it is more happy just charge a little more in shipping to cover the cost is a few $$ is too much of a lose for you, sincerly they cost 1-2$..

depends on the value of the card and depends on how much you want to spend on shipping. maybe consider the one touch as part of the 'handling' of shipping and handling cost.

I do ship in a 1-touch when needed, especially if it's a high-dollar item.
What I have done in the past with 1-touch (and slabbed cards) is put the card in either a small (used) bubble mailer or bubble wrap and then put that in another bubble mailer. it's a bit more to ship, but piece of mind is worth much more than the extra buck or 2 to ship.

I agree with this...peace of mind is well worth the little extra expense. One touches can be bought usually at Wal Mart for $4 for 2 of them, a small price to pay when you consider the price of a pack of Dominion or The Cup. I've used them to ship patch cards before.

if you already made the deal, then no.... but when you are in negotiations, this is something that can be discussed.

i would say to ask the trader to send you back the card in a one touch but they probably already have their card in a toploader/soft sleeve, to take it out and ask them to put it in a one touch but that would cause more handling of the card.
if you send in one touch, at least you have peace of mind that the card you're sending is well protected

I would never use one touches for shipping (couldn't care less about the cost). They are far too prone to being cracked and causing damage to the card thanks to the postal services sorting machines. Appropriate sized topload and cardboard decoys for extra protection are a much much better option.
