I hate rumors, till this morning i thought the Warriors were a lock to land Tyson Chandler, but then guess who stepped in but NY. Thats ok NY still sucks and that means Mavs wont make playoff and thats one more spot for Warriors to get in..; Sorry frustrated warrior fan needed to vent. this message will self destruct in 5 seconds

I don't really think Tyson Chandler takes the Mavs from World Champs to missing the playoffs.........but that's just me.

Tyson has been a serviceable Center and all, but the Knicks really overpaid for him. 58 Million for 4 years? That's almost 15 Million a year for a role player center who blocks one shot a game, can't average a double double, going downhill, and has an injury history. . . I thought one of the big issues the owners had was the players contracts were too outrageous, hence the amnesty clause, etc. . . and then lock-out's over and Tyson Chandler gets 58 Million? Wow. . .

Yikes Gasol & Odom to Rockets, Kevin Martin + fillers to NO and CP3 to Lakers.
dont like the trade.
No way we're gonna get Dwight Howard now if we're giving up Odom in the trade too.
Maybe Lakers are trying to shed luxury tax through this trade lol

Hopefully that will put the dh12 rumors to bed. It'll be interesting to see how things work out in LA. I guess they figure bynum has reached the point were he can be the guy down low. Great news for Kobe though.

It actually does the opposite. Magic want a package for Dwight that would have Bynum in it.
I'm so done with the NBA though. EVERY small market team has 0% chance to compete, even when they stink and offer a max deal they can't keep these guys. Not to mention the NBA owns the Hornets and isn't it odd how Bynum wasn't in the trade for Paul....

what's so odd about it?
I'm kinda glad cp3 didn't go to NY. I'm hoping Toney Douglas has a good year.

The league left the Lakers the biggest trade piece they had because they know the Magic want him in a trade and otherwise they wouldn't work a trade with LA...

The NBA might as well just dump divisions and switch to conferences. Let the top-2 teams from each conference face off in a 7-game series, and let the winners play each other. There's absolutely no point to having 16 teams in the playoffs anymore.
NBA = ruined
