Thad Young signed a "multi-year" contract to stay with the sixers. Not suprised after the season he had last year. This was actually what I thought would be the best thing for him when I heard he was going to be a rfa.

Look out for the sixers this year, there on my teams to watch list, they have so much young talent, and keeping Thad was a great idea, Kid is a beast.

According to Mike Wells the Pacers arent done yet either... They are targeting a signand trade with McRoberts for OJ Mayo with the Grizzlies and looking to add Jamal Crawford now that his deal with the Celtics isnt going to happen

interesting, maybe the grizz are already considering life w/o gasol. Def think crawford would be the better pick up depending on what they have to give up for him.

He just reported also they may be interested in Rip Hamilton if nothing else pans out... I think Crawford would be great for them also but Bird has always wanted someone who can make their shot of the dribble which Mayo obviously can...

Yeah the Pacers are one to lookout for, I havent checked there entire roster, but its starting to look like theyre preparing for big things, which doesnt surprise me.

And with the Knicks aquisition of Chandler, it looks like us New Yorkers may have something to be happy about sportswise, granted it is the knicks, also does anyone know who there starting PG is going to be seeing as they waived billups?

Now for the Odom trade, are any other Lakers fans out there as upset as I? I really dont see them making up for trading that kind of versatility away, While Odom wasnt a scoring machine, he created alot of matchup problems, not to mention its not often you find a F that can handle the ball like a PG, add to the fact that he could rebound, steal, and block shots, as well as a veteran presence off the bench, I guess I may be biased, but I really dont like them getting rid of him, along w/the departure of Brown, there bench just seems to thin.

I'm pretty sure it will be Toney Douglas. He was the #2 last year and did pretty good. I was hoping this would happen so I picked up a couple t. douglas rc/autos

I was going to do the same thing, but Ive been focusing so much on my Lakers collection, and buying to much baseball, that I havent had a chance to really do any basketball prospecting.
