Zep, I have seen your Knicks collection. If I can have half of what you and Cathay have, I'd be pretty stoked.

I am also tring to do the same thing with the Cleveland Browns. Growing up in the 80's a lot of the players I loved as a kid are not available on pack pulled auto's. I have no problem at all going for TTM/IP's. Either ones that I purchase or get for myself. I just prefer having them in a Browns uni. Plus if I do get them myself TTM or IP I like being able to pick exactly which card I want to get done.

Thanks a lot, don't worry you'll get there with your collection, just takes time, patience and money

Thinking about this, I would probably go with college as my third option over cert and ttm. My desire to collect as many Knicks is going to be a hard one, especially with 4 players from their championship years. Bill Bradley, Dave DeBusschere, Jerry Lucas and Phil Jackson are either hard autos or, in DeBusschere's case, dead. All are expensive autos once you find them. I have never seen a success for Bradley, Lucas, or Jackson either through the TTM route, although I am praying that retirement will have Jackson signing some Knicks cards or ttm.

Jerry Lucas is actually not too hard/expensive auto to obtain, I think you can probably get one for around $10-20.

The other 3 though are definitely tough.
