Bruins shot themselves in the foot today. The Canucks have no hope beating them 5 on 5.

Canucks will still be ran out of town on an old mule if they play Boston in the playoffs.
Marchand submarines Salo with the year's cheapest hit anywhere other than the head, and the Canucks do nothing, zilch, just stood around watching Salo wobble semi-consciously over to his stick, grab it, and throw it in disgust.
Marchand should have been speared, then beaten senseless.

Marchand hit was very dirty, but Looch did NOTHING wrong. Was on the ice when the melee occured and showed restraint by his standards for just pulling Bieksa away and throwing no punches. Which is why his misconduct was rescinded. BTW, Horribly officiated game for both sides, yet still very exciting. Game only proved that these teams are still two of the best in the league, nothing more.

They should have made this game the Winter Classic (nothing against Philly or NYR, but this would be the perfect game to watch)!!!!!

agreed by far the best game this year from my prospective and by many others as well.
Canucks roster is almost all filled with skill and not grit.
Canucks need a good tough guy that can fight and stick up for his teammates because like said above when Salo got hit by marchand knowbody even did to much and same with last year in the stanley cup finals. get rid of Higgins for a tough guy is my thought.

PP was the differeence:
Van: 4/7
Bos: 0/6
Vancouver destroyed the Bruins PK, but were pwned at even strength. I think the Canucks need another power forward to crash the net.

This game was pretty brutally reffed both ways, but it had to be. If they slacked off at all it would be a very bloodshed violent game.
The only thing Lucic did wrong was get involved in a separate occasion outside of the original, but to the refs since they were changing it looked like he was off the ice. If it were role reversal, I'd be ticked off for the game ejection at first, but would be okay with it after seeing the replay 3 or 4 times. He has definitely lost some class since being with the Giants. I used to be a die hard Lucic fan, but his antics are just disappointing now.
