yea even if it looks legit never log in through an email. always just go the website and log in that way.

Also I think paypal always sends you personalized emails addressing you by your name.
Like.. Dear Mr. Smith..
Never like.. Dear valued PayPal customer..
If you get an email and it's not personal, it could be fake.

I got the same email a few months ago and it is spam... you should not have logged in switch your password pronto!

I also got the same email a while back. I also got a call from PayPal saying that my PayPal was under watch due to suspicious activity. Someone found out my password and used it. After the long phone conversation, I got all my money back and password changed. It was a little scary at first knowing that someone used my account.

sounds fishy for sure
there was a scam going around recently with people using PayPal as the lure. Atleast Call PayPal and ask them if they were needing info from you.

They said "Hi Andrew Hoyler,", so I thought same as you, it was legit. I didnt notice the misspelled address until after when I thought it looked suspicious.Andrew Bailey Supercollector: 233/263 not including 1/1's (88.6%); 265/466 cards including 1/1's(56.9%)

I never keep much money in my Paypal, and it isnt linked to my bank account. So, I should be good (hopefully). Thanks everyone.
