Sure, roll your eyes, your team are a collection of Big Girl's Blouses. Salo is one of the best and cleanest guys in the league and the Canucks did nothing in his defense when Marchand who is half the size of the entire Canuck team got away without so much as a shove.
Lucic only wrassled, just like everyone else, he shouldn't have been given anything more than anybody else on the ice.

In terms of CBC, everyone has their homers. CBC's coverage balances out. Nobody listens to Ron McLean anyway, Canucks have two definite homers in Hughson and Garrett. Garrett is so one-eyed Canuck that he often wears an eye patch.

So you didn't watch the game at all, just one highlight. Got it.
If you did watch the game, can you say something that actually makes sense please.
Hice, I like you, but what you're saying makes absolutely no sense once the slightest amount of thought is put into it.
1 - The Canucks stood up all game long. This frustrated the Bruins which led to the parade of penalties.
2 - Had they gone after Marchand like you want, the Bruins would have lost Marchand and the Canucks would have had someone kicked out of the game. Now, which scenario sounds better when you turn off the bloodlust and actually put a little thought into it:
1 - Lose a second guy to a misconduct and play even strength against a team that is beating you even strength but not doing well on their penalty kill.
OR
2 - Lose only Salo and take the 5 minute powerplay, which has been killing the other team all game.
If you got what you want, the Canucks would have been forced to play 3 down instead of 2 and wouldn't have had the powerplay they scored twice on. Good call, coach!
Lucic was two shifts away from seriously injuring someone. We've all seen what happens when he gets worked up like he did. He shouldn't have been kicked out for leaving the bench. He should have been kicked out for going into the pile and back out and in and out and in and out.
On a related note, it's little better than what Wiese did with Thornton, since he refused to actually take anyone on, just grabbed vulnerable players to throw them to the ice. He was an idiot in that scrum and got what he deserved, just for the wrong reason.

Garrett admits it though (also, he's not CBC, he's regional SN with John Shorthouse, so I expect a little homerism). Ron McLean pretends he's unbiased, and likes to reference the fact that he's a level 5 referee to prove his "integrity". The fact is he's completely biased. He loves the Flames and the Leafs, hates the Canucks and is indifferent to the rest. It's so obvious he should just wear a sign. I don't mind that he has his favourites and teams that he doesn't like. Everyone does.
I just wish he'd be honest about his bias instead of throwing out there for the world to see and then retracting it (yet still claiming there's a rivalry between the CBC and Canucks). The man is a liar and has 0 integrity. If you know him, tell him I said it, I don't care. The day he's off TV will be a great day for hockey.
Actually scratch that, the day CBC loses broadcasting rights to the NHL will be a great day for hockey. Their entire staff is awful.

Marchand claims he was bracing for a potential hit.
And if you believe that, he's got a bridge in NYC to sell you.

Marchand is the new Tony Granato. Somebody needs to take him out.

According to the idiots behind the Vancouver bench and in the front office, that will happen. We all know Vancouver "took out" a player before and we all saw how that turned out. Are there a more annoying and classless bunch of administrative goons then Vancouver? Whine, cry, complain...over EVERYTHING. Raymond goes low on a hit, Burrows puts a stick in Thornton's neck and all anyone talks about is this? Call it like it is, Bruins are no saints, but look at your track record and call a spade a spade.

Lol Alain is an idiot plain and simple
Someone will take him out?
Why didn't you send your guys out to get him, you had 5 not the ice, and 20 on the bench, but every single one of them was scared to even poke Marchand
Canucks are full of little girls, they whine, and can't stand up for themselves or their team.

Why would any of the Bruins change the way they play? They won the Cup last year.
