Issues with shotty packaging standards

Shipped Many Cup cards in these and I never received a complaint. Is it possible your card was dinged prior to the seller sending it.
I'd rather receive a card in one of these compared to a penny sleeve with a cardboard dummy taped to it. Yes it has happened.

I want to keep the card, but this careless packaging leading to the damage has somewhat upset me since this is my primarily player that I collect. Currently negotiating a possible settlement. My possible rainbow pic is going to look a little ugly...

Last year, I received an Artifacts Tundra Tandems #/15 patch in one of these things. In both cases (including this 1/1), there was no deadening of the gap space so it fully allowed the card within to freely shake about to easily permit corner damage. Both sellers are experienced on eBay. Personally, it would be safer to use a 100pt or 130pt toploader and using a 130pt sleeve to put a large bundle of cards together.

Even if you deaden the space sufficiently using one of these horrible snap-cases, it is still possible through the postal service mishandling of the package that it could be dropped or thrown about. The only possible card type that could ever be potentially be safe to ship in one of these "storages of doom" is a thick acetate card like a Frozen in Time or an Ice Scripts since they are not made from cardboard and the corners are already rounded.

I've sent and received dozens of transactions where these snap cases have been used.
Never had an issue or any damages.

Same here, lower end cup card not over 50$.I putted the card in thick card penny sleeve then into one of these, after taped then case and into a team bag.Them snap case in bulk are cheaper then 130-180pts top load and offer more protection.You just have to be carefull when closing not to crush the card.

Those are the dumbest means of shipping cards. Just throw the darn thing in a top loader and be done with it.

I've received many of these and never had any damage. Sent a few and never a complaint. There is no way I'd put a single card in there, or anything too valuable, but I'd rather receive a package using one of these than two cereal-box sides taped together...and nothing else, not even a pennysleeve (yes, it's happened).

Or better yet, a slabbed card in a pwe (grumble grumble)

I hate getting any sort of cards like this. Toploaders or one touches are the only type of holder I will ship out for a transaction.

The internal design is a major flaw for use for any form of storage. Also, I do not think it would give a card ample protection in the instance of a bubblemailer getting punctured (with the snap case taking a direct hit) in transit through the postal system.

Every year, I have received a number of packages that have been punctured due to carelessness in the postal system. One time, I have received a totally shattered BGS-holder (at least 6-7 major fragments) and it was in a bubblemailer. This is why I ask sellers to use sturdy cardboards (ie. decoys from card packs) due to the potential rough handling that these packages can be subjected to.

I've sent some cards in these, but not regularly. I bought a collection a few years ago and a guys used these a lot for his jersey cards. However, when I shipped them I placed the card in a poly sleeve and also added cardboard on either side of the card to pack it tightly within the case. If you don't pack the case tightly then you run the risk of damage.

just got 1 of these yesterday in the mail with a 1/1 printing plate that i won on ebay....the card was just sitting in it..no other protection..luckily the card wasnt messed up
