Stick with Upper Deck. In my opinion you get far better value out of a box of Upper Deck product than you do with a Panini Product. I will never buy another Panini Product after the 3 cases I opened recently. They were awful.

    I 100% agree with sjw241.

I've opened 2 cases of Certified, 15 boxes of Crown, 50 boxes of Limited this year... just terrible returns. Limited actually was the best of the bad bunch, but Certified & Crown were horrible.

UD Series 1, Black Diamond and so far UD Series 2 have all at least returned the price of the case in SV, and in many instances returned my $$ + many great PC items (RNH Ruby Quad, etc).

Have spent a lot on Panini this year, and won't be fooled into it again. They've lost a customer in me.

Panini is like opening boxes of Kleenex from the breaks posted in here. Stick with UD Series 1 and 2.

Wouldn't touch either with a 10 foot pole. Certified was a huge downer this year and is full of redemptions. Crown Royale is a complete crap shoot. Go with something UD for the time being, with the exception of Score.

Although the value of some of Panini's products may be lower than UD's, I still think that Panini whips up some entertaining, good looking, fun products. Look at Crown Royale and Dominion - don't tell me those aren't amazing products.

I'd say go for whatever product you have faith in. If you feel lucky or just enjoy a product, even a box of 1990-91 Score can be awesome.

    Best regards,

    -Ethan

i have to agree here. If you are in the hobby to make money, then don't open boxes in general. If you are interested in the way the cards look, and the players on the checklist, then go with either company. If you are looking to make money off of a hobby.........maybe collect coins? :)
