    Knicks In Dallas! Linsanity!

I am a huge Mavericks fan, however I respect every player in the NBA. I wanted Lin really bad so I showed up to the AAC (Stadium) early and got in 2 hours early to get Knicks autos. I was bummed because Amare almost made it to me, then stormed off. Lin just ran past all of us into the locker room so I thought that was it..... Nope he came back out to sign and was super cool.

First my girlfriend got this 8x10 signed (hard to see he signed in bad area)

    Then he signed my jewel.

I also got Landry Fields on index cards. But other then that, the Lin was my major one.

I hope this isn't your auction, but it does seem like it is. Its a shame that people like me can't anything signed at a Clipper/Laker game, but other arenas you have so much freedom and they just go on and sell things I'd love to have in my collection, but do you

I'm sorry but seeing him selling that just made me mad. I live in NY and you can stand outside the parking garage at MSG and get some autos. But when players see people selling their autograph for 1600.00, they get pissed. It's hard to even get some Rangers autos too just because people sell them and try to make profit.

there are many people on these boards and others that are dealers that happily share information that they've spent time and money figuring out (since it is money incentivizing them) about graphing. They aren't bad people because they want to sell something that is a commodity.

I've never sold anything, but I can see why people do. After awhile you get a ton of autos, and you decide to only keep the ones you want and sell the rest of them you get. Like I have 3 derrick rose autos, do I really need a 4th?

So what should I do with the extras? Trade them? How is trading with people on here any different than selling? I'm still getting something in return.

People have always sold graphs, it's just that ebay has allowed players to actually keep track now, so yeah signing has gone down. But I don't blame individuals or think they are bad people or anything.

Anyways just my 2 cents, I'm sure the guy didn't want to turn his celebration thread into a "this guy sucks" thread.

Done gone and opened up this can of worms...yet again. Too tired to replay this broken record in our hobby.

Price a tad high? Maybe...but it's his. He got it and is allowed to do whatever the eff he wants. Nobody is making yall buy it so just sit back and enjoy the ride.

I am keeping the jersey. I know it wouldn't sell, however if it did I wouldn't care. I am not a dealer. I collect. I saw one got for 1,200 the other day so I can't try? Jeeze what do you people care anyways?
