I personally don't sell my autos but ball players are not dumb then know that some people are selling their autos but even if an average Joe can make a couple of dollars off an auto it's still a drop in the bucket compared to the money that star players make, their endorsements and their autograph contracts. The ironic part about it is that usally the lesser ball players who don't make a whole lot of money are very much obliged to sign and the star players who make all the big money are the ones who refuse to sign because someone might sell their auto.

I'm sorry but seeing him selling that just made me mad. I live in NY and you can stand outside the parking garage at MSG and get some autos. But when players see people selling their autograph for 1600.00, they get pissed. It's hard to even get some Rangers autos too just because people sell them and try to make profit.

That is total bs. Most don't even care or even look for that matter. Lin is signing good right now because he is semi "new" into the league. Most tapper off signing. Even if my auction wasn't up on ebay, there are 2 more there way higher then mine. Go troll somewhere else.

I will gladly show you my collection one day. The high price is if someone really wants it then they would buy it. Will it sell? Most likely NO. In which case I would keep it. I do that with some of my autos to see if it is valued higher to someone else. In Lins case people all over the world want him more than I probably do (China ect.) I am not a dealer. I have a ton of stuff, including 5 other jerseys of other players that I still need to get framed. I will be honest, sometimes when I do get duplicates (usually take my gf with me) I may sell one to a friend or on ebay. It helps pay for my hobby and obsession.

Instead of criticising people for what they do with their autographs, why not ask if people can help you get certain players and trade for them. Isn't that what this hobby is about? If you look at the other thread, I will be going to the Mavs vs. Clippers game to get Clippers autos. If there is someone you are looking for then maybe I can get them and trade with you, I will have my gf so I will be getting 2 of everyone that decides to sign.

I would trade with you, but I don't really have anything. I don't get to enough games to get doubles so consider you and others fortunate to have access to these players. Clipper/Laker tickets are pretty pricey for the areas you're allowed to get things signed, if you don't sit there, you can't go simple as that
