If you guys dislike SCF so much then there are plenty of alternative web sites available. If you don't like online trading then visit your LCS or go to shows. But I can tell you trading in real life and finding the cards you want isn't exactly hot chicks covered in whip cream.

Thats the rules man, i followed then and so did most of the other accomplished traders on this site. I didnt like sending high dollar cards first either but i had to gain trust and reputation just like you should. If a new member has a problem sending first to a guy that has completed alot of trades on here that is just a red flag in my mind.
By the way i trade on both sites and there is nothing better on the web then this site, you just dont like it because you think your above the rules.Last edited by 11chaos; 03-14-2012 at 10:31 AM.

I have never sold a card on here where I wasnt paid 1st. The buyer is overly protected when using paypal so they have no risk.
Im tired of these complaint threads. If you dont like it, go away!

Look, I'm not here to debate the rules with you, talk down to you, etc. I'm here to trade/buy/sell sports cards, like the vast majority of the people on here.
Whether or not you agree by the rules put in place by the ownership of the forum is a moot point. SCF is a privately owned and run entity, and prior to signing up for an account, you knew (or should have known the score).
I understand the whole rebelling against the rules mentality and all, but what good does it do, when no one is forcing you to follow them, you are perfectly free to click the 'x' at the top right of your screen and be free of all of SCF's rules and regulations, but that's about the only way to do it.
At the end of the day, you knew what you were signing up for, and if you didn't at the time, I'm sure you do now. The decision is yours, in the end.Last edited by 11chaos; 03-14-2012 at 10:32 AM.

I personally like the "must send first" until 20 trades rule. It establishes trust amongst new people. Everyone on here did it, as should you. But with 2 trades and a "Must Send First" tag, and at least one suspension...I dont think you have much room to be stating that you should be trusted. Just my opinion. Blowout allows many the troll to run rampant and irritate all kinds of people. It's free to join, too! Enjoy yourself with the hobby...that's why it was invented...for enjoyment! As many a poster has said already, relax.
This is by far the best forum on the net. Period. Rules...yes. More rules than other card sites....yes. Necessary...well...just think what this thread would look like if there were no rules.
You are correct with one thing. On ebay the buyer always pays first. HOWEVER...if I were to buy a card from you, with me being a new buyer, I would def. have to pay first. But if you were a new seller at the same time, the money i paid you through paypal wouldn't be released to you until you added tracking info into the system. So it's a trust thing also with ebay.
