I personally like the "must send first" until 20 trades rule. It establishes trust amongst new people. Everyone on here did it, as should you. But with 2 trades and a "Must Send First" tag, and at least one suspension...I dont think you have much room to be stating that you should be trusted. Just my opinion. Blowout allows many the troll to run rampant and irritate all kinds of people. It's free to join, too! Enjoy yourself with the hobby...that's why it was invented...for enjoyment! As many a poster has said already, relax.

This is by far the best forum on the net. Period. Rules...yes. More rules than other card sites....yes. Necessary...well...just think what this thread would look like if there were no rules.

You are correct with one thing. On ebay the buyer always pays first. HOWEVER...if I were to buy a card from you, with me being a new buyer, I would def. have to pay first. But if you were a new seller at the same time, the money i paid you through paypal wouldn't be released to you until you added tracking info into the system. So it's a trust thing also with ebay.

The rule should be changed to actual "trades" and just not buying 20 items that are $1.00 each in a PWE, though.

this thread is full of so much fail...from the op complaining about his own hypocracy to a fraud (claimed to be a police officer on another site) complaining about the msf rules and getting banned...

like it's been said, if you don't like scf, no one is forcing you to come here. If you don't like making offers, avoid those threads or ask the seller for a price. It's not a difficult concept, really...i prefer scf to those other sites because they're so full of scammers. I don't really have an issue with any of the rules here.

Ideally, we want to make trading on here as easy and smooth as possible, and don't want to intimidate new traders from getting started.

But let me pose the question back to you guys. If you could do one or two things on here to improve the trading process, what would they be and why?

Well, i had a trade not go so well, and it proved to be a misunderstanding and not serious. But, when i was given my choices to fix the situation i was told they could give me the paperwork to file a internet fraud claim and pretty much told thank you have a nice day. I think people under 18 should not be allowed to trade. Isn't it harder to file charges on a minor? Secondly, there needs to be a tad bit more security. On the Beckett site you had to have a credit card on file to buy/sell/trade. I think this site needs something in that same direction. IP addresses can be changed in seconds and banning can be gotten around and have a new account within minutes. Intimidation should not be a factor if you are honest and not a scammer...just my two pennies...

If you are selling a card you should have to post a price!!!!! That or sell it on ebay!!!!! Make offers the biggest jokes on this site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Change the rules or ban them.

I have a Shareef Abdur Rahim superfractor 1/1 that I want to sell the only problem is I have no clue on the price point due to its rarity, but someone who is interested in the card my have a clue on what they are willing to pay for it.

I will be taking the easy route and going with ebay this time but I don't understand why two adults can not negotiate prices.

Any one else with any other product making a private sale can say accepting offers and not even provide a price. Bottom line is deal with who you want to deal with on here if they can't provide you with a price then its on to the next one.

i dont think it really maters but it does help if you have a price posted and then you can start making offers from there
