Lol......
People can deny that Kovalchuk is not as good as Datsyuk, but they are still all in denial. Datsyuk makes no mistakes, it's simply not his nature.

i'll admit Datsyuk is definitely a better all around player than Kovalchuk. and Datsyuk is great offensively, but he also has better teammates than Kovalchuk, at least when he was with Atlanta. Kovalchuk is a better goal scorer IMO, and can also put up the assists, which a lot of people love to criticize about him, saying he's selfish and what not....just my opinion though.

A member here does indeed have a copy of the Kovalchuk Titanium. I'm sure he's seen this thread and I'll let him decide whether or not to show it.

Saw it...I remember that one as that is the exact one I bought a few years ago and returned it to the seller because of the damaged corner.
Nice card. Good luck with your sale.

Yep, I remember that too - ended up buying that seller's entire collection. It does have that tiny corner ding. Honestly, I think $3k is a ridiculous asking price, but I'm only selling it to try and buy the Datsyuk that's also listed for $3k
Thanks for wishing me luck... I'll need every bit of it that I can get!

Yeah, I saw that Datsyuk too! That seller is crazy...I think he works for eBay and paid with his ebay bucks...Get his UD Premier Datsyuk...that card is way under valued at $200....it really should be near equal to the Kovalchuk in that set.
As I said before Titanium has really become a joke of a set. Just look at he 2000-01 & 2002-03, and 2003-04 #/99 rookies and they sell for half of SPA FW cards even with such low print runs.
It will be interesting what Panini does with Titanium this year, but at one rookie per case, numbered to their jersey numbers again, I still rather have a nice UD Ultimate Auto RC /99.
Hard-signed auto rookies just seem way more appealing and they keep their value over time.

Speaking of the #ed RC from 01-02, does anyone know if the Ty Conklin /1 was ever pulled?
