I am still trying to figure out how did Ralph Sampson get elected over Bernard King and Rick Pitino.

Rick Pitino not getting in is a real shame. Despite his failure with the Celtics, the man has been one of the most successful coaches over a long period of time. I think his jumping from team to team hurt him.

Ralph Sampson???? I didn't even think he would be on the radar. Doesn't that lower the bar for a bunch of other people?

    Reggie Miller, yeah!!!

Exactly. No disrespect to Sampson I'm sure he's a good guy but if they will let him in the HOF then they should let anybody in.

He was one of the best college players ever. On top of that he won ROY and had been an all-star a couple of years before getting injured.

A very good college player and decent NBA'er is now worthy of the Hall of Fame? Does this mean that someone like Tyler Hansborough, JJ Redick, or Adam Morrison belong in the Hall of Fame?

3 National Player of the Year Awards in college.... You do know the Hall of Fame is more than just players in the NBA right? None of those players achieved anything like he did in college.
