eBay Advice/Question...
I sold a $25 card on eBay and had USA and CAN as the only shipping options. I got this message from the buyer:
"I just purchased your card and I was wondering if you would send it to me in Taiwan. I am currently here for business for about a year, I have a ebay address and PayPal with my Taiwan address. If this is possible please let me know it would be greatly appreciated. You can see from all my recent feedback in the last 6 weeks that I often buy cards and have them sent here with no problems. If this is not possible I will find a way to get it picked up from my Canada address. Hope you can consider this and let me know ASAP so I can pay. I wait to hear back from you. Cheers"
I don't really have a problem sending to Taiwan - I just want to make sure that I'm not falling into some trap. Am I?

I wouldn't do it, if he really wanted to , he could of asked during the auction, not after ended. Especially since it is an Canada/US only shipping. But I am usually over cautious in these situations...

Tell the buyer they must pay for tracked and insured shipping. That way you are covered by Paypal. If they refuse then tell them sorry no deal. Or tell him you'll send it to their North American address.
Seems fishy to me, why would he need the card so bad in Asia if he is there for business or whatever he said.

To be protected with the Paypal seller protection, you need to ship to the address that's associated with the Paypal account. You also need to ship with tracking
If the buyer's Paypal address is from Taiwan, then that's outside of the area you were willing to sell to as per your listing.
I'd check the buyer's FB first, but if you feel uncomfortable, you can always request to have the transaction cancelled. Or, ask for more $$$ to have tracking to the Taiwan location.
GL with whatever you decide.

I wouldn't be so harsh as some of the posters on your thread. If his paypal address is Taiwan, then you're OK shipping there and will be protected as long as you can prove delivery, in accordance with ebay policies. So figure out the proper ship cost to Taiwan with tracking and signed delivery at his end and have him pay that and then ship out once he's paypal'd you. No doubt he'll pay more for ship but he's got to expect that. Especially if his feedback is 100% I'd have no concerns at all about doing this.
