I just saw the new 12/13 UD OPC due out in mid August. It's taking the place of UD Victory (which has been discontinued) as UD's first hockey release of next year's products.

The base design is very nice, the best (in my opinion) since UD started with OPC in 06/07, and the retro's have a great look as well, kinda 1950's/60's style.

Boxes will have 40 cards more than last year's boxes, 8 cards per pack, 32 packs a box = 256 cards (last year had 216).

A few more new inserts as well.

Can't wait for summer hockey!!

i think the alternate and history logos will be fun to collect. I know I am going after them. I always open about 3-5 boxes of this a year. I like the changes for 12/13.

I'm really excited about this product.

It's always nice to take a little break from relics and autos and look at the base cards individually.

I would assume so.

Those 2 high-end boxes won't be announced until pretty close to their release date.

I thought there was rule that next years product couldn't be relesed until all of this years product was out.

Hmm, if that is true, than I expect OPC to be delayed. I think the CUP and Dominion will be out in early September.
