Panini Redemption Replacement Issue

How do you get any form of compensaton (extra packs etc that people always say they get) from them?

I mean aside from taking thier family pet hostage, I can never get them to do anything for me and this is after 15 onths of waiting

I just called them and politely informed them that they made a mistake. They asked if I wouldn't mind sending the card back, and they'd compensate me with packs for my troubles / shipping costs. I didn't even have to ask for it.

You need to call them and ask for a Mindy. She will work with you. Tell them you are not happy, the 2 cards are not even comparable in price. I have had to stay on them and it did some good.

I called and talked to Mindy. She told me to send the card back and they would reopen the pending redemption. She said they couldn't send another replacement but they anticipate they will have the card sometime. I guess I'm just going to have to wait indefinitely for it. It's only been since 3/11 since I requested it... I have heard old stories of redemptions that took yrs to come in. I am glad they will be reopening the case, and Mindy was cordial and professional. Still frustrated though that I will have to continue waiting for it. I guess I should have just sold the redemption in the first place... Thanks for everyone's comments about it.

I recieved two replacements today after talking with Mindy 2 weeks ago. She asked what teams I like I told her 2....she replaced with out hitting one of them.

The first original redemption was..

Haven't had any experience with redemption replacememts, but I will probably be requesting one soon for my Jean Ratelle Luxury Suite auto. Having heard what you received, I am now a little reluctant to request a replacement. You definitely did not receive a fair market value replacement. I would contact them about this and explain your disapproval of their replacement choice.

Panini's redemption replacement program is WORSE than UD! They will not replace your cards with cards that you actually would want for your PC. With my own personal experience and the experiences posted on this site, it is just horrendous.

Yes, it is the retired player base card. Seeing as the other Rangers retired players (Giacomin, Park, Gilbert, Middleton, Graves, Leetch, etc.) all have autos in multiple products and this is the only Ratelle Auto, I suspect that maybe they had an issue with him signing. My guess is that this card will not be produced, but I really hope it will be.
