Anyone who experineced the increasing number of lost mails?
Hi,
I have been a member of Ebay since summer-2000...
Before that I was buying PC-cards for a very high prices in my country at various hockeycard shops.
So Ebay was like a heaven for me when I at first experienced Ebay.
I only lost one mail during 2000-2011
98-99 Topps Gold Label Class 3 or 2 Master Piece 1/1 Tom Barrasso $50 in 2001 or 2002, it was a devastating loss....
But only 1 lost mails of 800 aren't that so bad!
Especially when I lives overseas from NA.
But suddenly since autumn 2011 to now I ALREADY LOST 4 MAILS!!!!
What has happened with NA's postal service?
Cards which I lost was
*01-02 SPGU Tools of Game Pads /100 Hedberg with big "H" letter from "VAUGHN"!!!
*11-12 World vs Canada, World's Best Silver Miller/Richter/Barrasso/vanbiesbrouck even if it's a silver version but looks like gold version, awesome multi-colored swatches on 3 of 4 those players!
I have now an another crappy silver with single color of them all....
*10-11 BTP Ready Willing and Able Silver Brodeur/Hedberg, Toronto EXPO 1/1
*XXX XXX XXX XXX XXX!!!
The most horrible is that 2 of them has tracking numbers but got lost...!
One of the card who got lost was from a +55.000 feedback dealer on ebay!!
I was trying to contact the sellers but no response after 3-4 mails???
Now it's too late to make a open case dispute because 45days ha exceed for all those cards, it's very difficult becasue sometimes it may takes up to 2 months for a card to arrive to me.....
I wasted +$200 of nothing.....
Am I just extremely unlucky or anyone who like me got many mails lost/stolen?
That's also strange to many ebayer has increased their shipping rates (some takes like $20-80 in shipping) but yet 4 mails of mine got lost!

File a fraud/dispute claim with ebay over it.

I couldn't make a open case becuase 45-days has passed...
but maybe dispute and open case are 2 different things? I'll check out with it.

If you didn't get an item you better be on the seller. If he doesn't want to answer you then I'd think that is a bit shady. As a seller you would think people would want to right the situation.

But the problem is that one of the seller is nothing than a +55.000 positive feedback seller...but yet no response after 3 e-mails from me, the mail got lost even with tracking numbers!

Could have been stolen I'd imagine. But there must be some way for you to recoup something out of it.

Ok I'll try but not easy when the sellers aren't willing to contact.
I bet that the seller was also shocked by when I mailed him about that the mail
got lost even with tracking numbers (he/she may think that I maybe was trying to rip off him/her or something)

To me it would look bad if the seller isn't contacting you back.

Lost 4 in the last month, with a few pending (meaning people are saying they aren't there yet but could still arrive)
It really sucks. They weren't big cards but I am far from rich and every bit hurts. I am out the card and the money. I am also waiting on a fairly expensive card from a member here, who I trust 100% and beleive they have mailed it.
As a side note, I did a HUGE trade today with SCF member Greendawg. I requested that we meet in person as I didn't want to trade the amount of cards we did through Canada Post. I am losing faith in them lately.
