    Which would you enjoy most?

Regardless of the value of the card which would give you a bigger thrill? Pulling an auto of your favorite ballplayer in a pack? Getting his/her auto ttm? Meeting him/her in person and getting their auto? Or winning it on ebay for an amazing price?

I collect autos in all four of the forementioned methods but I really enjoy going to ball games and getting autos in person the most. I know that certified autos are worth more money but it is more fun seeing the ball player sign the auto and having the chance to speak to him/her and wish them good luck in the game. I have had the chance to get a lot of the top nba/wnba and a few college basketball players IP and loved it. I also got a few football, baseball, and hockey players as well. I mainly do basketball IP because I can usually get tix for around $10 and I have more basketball cards than anything else so I always have something to get autographed.

I enjoy getting autos in person, and meeting the people. All the other options are great additions to your collection, but the personal experience enhances things in my opinion.

Personal experience by far. I'm an MMA nut, and for those not educated in the sport, many feel these guys are just barbarians, when in fact, they are probably the most humble of all sports athletes.

For me it would be pulling a monster hit out of a pack. I have the luck to be able to get in persons frequently and have done so. I guess both are at the top of my list, meeting these guys ip is pretty stinking cool.

Having done all four, I can very safely say "Meeting him/her in person and getting their auto" and singing happy birthday to me. :)

I'd prefer an IP auto, then you know it is genuine. The pack pulled ones are also legit, but I find I'm straying away from collecting autographs if I can help it. If I know I can get a guy in person then I won't bother with trading/buying ones people pulled. All it takes is some time and patience to get them IP and it's a more unique experience to me.
