In my opinion, Contenders and Elite were released wayy to close together. They should've separated them more.

Probably yes, though I'm not sure, it's not like the products look the slighest the same. I think many skip one of them, personally I skip Elite and buy Contenders instead.

Elite is incredibly overpriced for what you get, take lesson Panini. Had it cost $70-75 I'd bought two boxes already. The setting of a price is important in marketing, something all companies, especially UD and Panini, should take note if. Just cause you set a high price it doesn't mean people will be stupid enough to think it's worth it. Like SPGU, the most overpriced product I've seen in years. If they'd cut it in half, 90 bucks, I think all the complaint would disappear and people would embrace it instead (except for this year's hideous ugly looking design, that is hard to swallow even if I get the cards for free)

Well, i guess the good thing is the most sought after card will be the highest numbered. Good Luck to the Smith collectors fighting over the /2!

This will be interesting to see, I'm sure RNH will be most well paid initially, but the really rare ones could become gold in the future. I'm almost inclined to pick up a few below 10 ex rookies on ebay when it hits.

Even better news, my LCS can ship tomorrow so I'll have it at the same time everyone else does worldwide too, and that is soooo rare, woohoo!! Better not be a dud box : ) Should I pick two? Or will this be like the old Titanium valuewise, crap jerseycards and nothing else unless you're extremely lucky?

There looks to be a lot of good hits, and hey, it's still better than SPGU, which is it's most comparable product IMO ;)

Well my price unfortunately hits close to spgu ($159 dlvd), but here's hoping the cards at least look better! That can't be hard.

Such a rip at $159. The numbered rookies are 1 in 16 boxes! That's astronomical odds, with no other true RC's in the product how can any one expect this to not be a huge disaster??? This has Luxury Suite written all over it, but LS had hard signed autos at least.

Yeah I dunno about this product... I might pick up a box.. but here it run under $100. Still tough product to make a go of it even at that price. This is not Panini's SPGU comparable, I believe that will be Prime.

Rookies fall at 1 in every 8 box case actually! And the other RCs will still fetch money. The draft parallels will be very sought after. At $159 dlvd though it seems like a steep price.
