According to your logic... Westbrook > John Stockton and Steve Nash

Westbrook is nowhere near as good a passer as Stockton was or Nash is, but we are talking about guys who are playing now.

Nash is old and at the end of his career, he may get a few more assists per game then Westbrook but his inability to stop athletic PG's and keep up with the rigors of an 82 game season makes him way less valuable TODAY.

I dont see why people are suddenly hating on Westbrook, he got frustrated by the NBA Champion Miami Heat who have the best perimeter defense in the NBA. He is a top 5 PG where Nash isnt even in the top 10 at this stage of his career.

lol look at the age.. I'd NEVER even consider picking nash over the amazing talent that is Westbrook.. Kid rules!

See... that's the problem. You are only looking at age. Just because someone is older doesn't mean that they still can't play at a high level. So let's choose Stephon Marbury (age 21), Ray Allen (age 22), or Allen Iverson (age 23) over Michael Jordan (age 35) in 1998? Michael Jordan won an NBA Finals that year, so that destroys the "age" argument.

Not hating on Westbrook. He's one of the most talented guards in the league as I mentioned in a previous post. If the Thunder want to win right now, I'm saying that Steve Nash would be a better fit for the team. The Thunder have too many scorers (Westbrook, Harden, and Durant) and no distributors.

Please name 10 point guards that where better than Steve Nash last season.

Paul, Deron, Westbrook, Rondo, TOny Parker, Tyreke Evans, Jennings... Gets hairy after that.

Lawson, Nash, Wall, Maybe Lou WIlliams or Holliday.

I dunno... Nash is in the bottom part of the top 10 last year I think. Not out of it though.

Wonder where OJ Mayo will land. Some reports say the Celtics may go after him, also read that the Nets are interested in him aswell.

    Figured U would ask LOL
This is just my opinion and guys I would sign to a large contract today over Nash :

    1. Deron Williams
    2. Chris Paul
    3. Rajon Rondo
    4. Russell Westbrook
    5. Derrick Rose (even tho he's hurt now)
    6. Kyrie Irving
    7. John Wall
    8. Brandon Jennings
    9. Michael Conley
    10. Tony Parker

Tyreke Evans doesn't play point guard. He starts at shooting guard and even starts at small forward every now and then. I wouldn't put Jennings ahead of Nash. Nash passes AND shoots better than Jennings.

I think Nash is in the #4 - #6 range.

Well Tyreke Evans is listed as a PG. Well actually a PG/SG. Either way, I just went off of people who have it listed as an official position.

OKC cant do anything concerning Free Agency, it would have to be a sign and trade deal with Westbrook involved and I dont think OKC would even consider getting rid of Westbrook especially for Nash LOL.

Why would Nash be a great fit for OKC when they have Westbrook???

If you're convinced that Westbrook is a good "point guard" then I don't know.
