Jay I love the news links above. I am still nervous about ray ray heading to south beach. Green would be perfect to have as a 3/4. If bass returned green could take both back up minutes for Pierce and Bass if he resigns.

I don't even know where to begin on the Nets trading for an overpaid (20M a year) SG and a losing the chance at getting DH12. If they don't sign Humphries, who is going to grab rebounds? B Lopez seems scared to try and get any more than 4-5 a game. If they don't re-sign DWill, they'll be having lottery picks for a few years.
For the Hawks, D. Ferry is cleaning house adn making cap room for something. I like the jazz getting mo williams and getting rid of D. harris. Not to sure I like them getting Marvin Williams, but u gotta get somebody in return on a trade

From what I heard the JJ deal was contingent on D-Will resigning. If Deron doesnt sign with Brooklyn, then the deal is off.

The Nets/Hawks trade isn't contingent with what DWill does

Yeah Johnson trade has no relation to d will resigning. Nets are rolling the dice taking on Johnsons massive deal.

Danny ferry is doing a good job... Think they will also move Josh smith? Who do they build around.... Horford? He is coming off a huge injury... Will be very different year for the Hawks.

Daveid Aldridge said it's closer to 85M, however that is great just to get rid of Johnson. If the hawks trade JSmooth, that team is doomed. There's no reason to start rebuilding. THey need a sixth man and someone like reggie evens/nate robinson to give them a spark.

If they keep smith and Horford they will at best be a 7th or 8th seed... I say just rebuild no sense in being stuck in middle.. If they kept both smith and Horford they would remind me on the bobcat teams with Wallace and Jackson always stuck in no mans land.

See... that's the problem. You are only looking at age. Just because someone is older doesn't mean that they still can't play at a high level. So let's choose Stephon Marbury (age 21), Ray Allen (age 22), or Allen Iverson (age 23) over Michael Jordan (age 35) in 1998? Michael Jordan won an NBA Finals that year, so that destroys the "age" argument.

Wait.. Really? So michael jordan won the nba finals all by himself??? Jeez, maybe I never gave him enough credit.. maybe he IS the best ever if he did all that by himself..

    Nash is nowhere near westbrook.
