Nash is officially a Laker, surprised the Suns couldn't get more then 4 draft picks in return. The LA picks will be late 1st round and 2nd round picks.
Michael Beasley has officially become a Sun! Im super happy and called this one awhile ago LOL. He fits, has huge potential, and is only 23yrs old.
Next on the Suns agenda Raymond Felton, lets make this happen PHX - roster is shaping up to be:
1. Dragic / Marshall
2. Eric Gordon
3. Michael Beasley
4. Frye / Morris
5. Marcin Gortat
Looks sick to me!Last edited by nightbreedbeats; 07-05-2012 at 01:59 AM.

Beasley is a risk vs reward type of player... Could be amazing or horrible. I think that Gordons offer will be matched by the hornets.
Felton could be solid pickup if his weight doesn't go up and down like Oprah's.

Well turns out the Suns also landed PG Goran Dragic with a 4yr. $34 million dollar deal.
Would have been nice to get Sessions or Felton but I feel Dragic could be a legitimate starter who can run that offense.
He had some big games in the playoffs for PHX a couple years back, hope he can return to that form.

I myself like this signing. He seemed to thrive here before and if they continue to play fast he should do fine. Marshall I'd a great security blanket and he should do wellmas a backup.

Interested in other's takes on the Eric Gordon situation.....
You own the Hornets. You are looking to rebuild with talented young players for the future.
Eric Gordon signs an offer sheet with the Suns, claiming "It feels right, Phoenix is where I want to be" and begs New Orleans not too match.
Do you let a guy go that doesn't want to be there in an effort to keep bad vibes away from your youthful core?
Do you pay $58 million over four years to a guy that doesn't want to be there because you have a right to match and you think he's a good enough player to risk it?

Good questions.
You have to let Gordon go, I would never pay somebody that much to work for me if they dont like me or my work environment. Money can only do so much.
I think Eric Gordon has a chance to be the real Face of the Suns franchise and doesn't want to be part of such a long term a re-building process.
In PHX he will be around a team that has made it to the NBA Western Conference Finals recently and has great Vets:
Dragic - Playoff proven
Dudley - One of the hardest working players in the NBA
Grant Hill - NBA Legend and great work ethic
Michael Beasley - Vet who was the highest rated player coming out of college in 2008
Frye - Solid Vet
Gortat - A top 5 or 8 Center in the NBA
Plus a solid bench with Telfair, Robin Lopez, Aaron Brooks, etc
People think that just because the Hornets got Davis and Rivers they are going to be in the Playoffs this year.
NO WAY, look how long it took the Thunder to get it together. The Hornets project is a 3-4 year process while PHX will be in the Playoffs this year with the new squad.

Glad the Knicks signed Jason Kidd. Should help out Jeremy Lin's game if he comes back to NY.
