What to do with a titanium RNH Rookie
So, i pulled a Ryan Nugent Hopkins /93 from titanium the day the product came out. I have been trying to sell it but can't seem to get any good offers. I am not big into hockey, infact this is the first hockey product i have opened. Is this a card i should get graded or should i move it asap to reduce the chance of him being a bust? Any help would be great!

RNH is a pretty safe bet to turn into a star, heck he already is a star, If I were you I would get it graded and sit on it for a while MEGA PULL congrats.

I see you do more baseball and football? For some reason, hockey doesn't sell like those sports. If this is RG3, it goes high. Sad the $500 backed out. I'd be happy with $300 for it.

When i was watching it one had just ended on ebay for $485. If the guy was in the US, it would have been gone no problem for $6 in shipping, but to canada it was $38 with insured. He didn't want me to insure it because he had to pay customs on the declared value, but I was not going to risk shipping without it being insured.

You should have promised to send it in a 3 card Top-Loader wedged between 2 Andy Racicot cards, It would arrive safer than by Brinks Truck.
You will never sell a single card to anyone in Canada Based on promising to put "Actual Cost" on the Customs form.

Gifts are still subject to all Duty In-Bond to Canada. Canadian Customs/Douane are business men. They don't give a firetruck, they want their pound of flesh.

I've had 3 cards over $100 (120, 150, 200) come in tracked with that amount of insurance marked as gifts and not a single problem. It's the same from Canada to the US as it is from the US to Canada, only the value changes slightly to $100.

That's only one experience, they are not all treated in the same manner. I had weekly business dealings with Canadian Customs when I lived in Canada for almost 20 years, it all depends where you live and the actual agent that handles your merchandise.
By law, they can charge any Import Duty on any item, new or used if it is over the Customs import limit......
That's a fact. Last I heard, the limit was $15.00 Duty Free.
