    2012 presidential election thread!!!!!

LMK and all of us know who you plan to vote for this November and post why.

Just want to see what other people than myself think, because we all have different beliefs and opinions about the solutions of the nation's future.

Im going with Obama because quite frankly I don't believe that romney can do any better. As a matter of fact he will make things much worse. He is running on the campaign platform that he will appeal obamacare. He is basically saying that I have my own taxpayer fiananced insurance but I am going to repeal your (the taxpayer's) insurance. It looks like he is only out for himself and the rich and is completely out of touch with the common working man which is the backbone of our society. He is a clown as far as I am concerned.

I plan to either write in Ron Paul, or Yeshua Hamaschia in the hopes that Jesus will come back and reign over the Earth. I refuse to vote for 2 sides of the same coin. Republicrats and Democans.

I still can't believe Romney is the best the republicans can do. As soon as I heard Huckabee wasn't running I knew there would be no one else.

Ron Paul does have some good ideas, but some bad ones as well. Probably better than Romney and Obama though. Don't bank on jesus coming back though.

Honestly, were I American, I would seriously think about doing that myself.

Curious as to what you think Ron Paul's bad ideas are?

How can Romney do much worse? obama is enacting the forceful destruction of America. I agree they both work for the same puppet masters, but at least Romney will not force communism down everyone's throat.

Please explain how taxpayer financed insurance will be better than the best private insurance and healthcare system in the world was. 85% of doctors are now thinking of retiring or leaving the medical field. Everything the government runs, it runs into the ground. Death panels are already in the works, and there is testimony by neuro-surgeons to that very fact. Everyone 70 and older will be given "comfort care", which is the refusal of expensive surgeries in favor of pain killers to help you "die peacefully".

How is this a good thing again?

Exactly how is obama out for the "working man"? I am that working man, and he is crushing private enterprise, which is the backbone of our society. Union thuggery, coercion, and theft of dues only seeks to enrich those who run the unions. When unions go on strike, who do the bosses side with? These days it's NEVER the working man, they seek to enrich themselves by siding with management.

Unions force others into a system against their will. Non-union members are forced to pay dues to enrich union bosses and have no choice in union-run states. Just look at Texas and you can see how Right-To-Work states are the one's succeeding. Unions ruined Detroit, the auto companies, and American Manufacturing. You can claim "outsourcing" all you want, the reason for outsourcing is the ridiculously high rates that unions force onto companies, which is far higher than the rates for non-union companies in Right-To-Work states.

Not a problem. First off Ron Paul is a Libertarian, which is the exact opposite of socialism and just as dangerous and it's one of those thinks that sounds good on paper, but would never work. There would basically be no gevernment all, zero government regulation on anything is just as dangerous as too much government regulation. Zero money to schools and road construction is not a good thing. Plus I feel that Ron Paul is too flakey at times and if something he puts into place doesn't work right away, I don't fully trust him to stick with it and I wouldn't be too surprised to see him change it right away. Also he has stated he wants to get rid of the IRS and Federal Reserve but he has never come out and said (at least to my knowledge) what he plans to have in place after he gets rid of the IRS and Federal Reserve.

My opinion is that the most important job of the government and the president is to sustain the balance the powere of big business and big government. Neither one can become too powerful.

The good things about Ron Paul is he truly understands our crisis about the national debt and the danger of inflation and the fact that the govenment can't just print money when they see fit. Plus he leaves issues to the individual. I hate it when people vote for a candidate because he/she is pro-life or pro-choice. It makes no difference what the president thinks on those issues, it's nothing more than distracting people from real issues.

I will say that Ron Paul is better than Idiot 1 and Idiot 2
