Nice! Both Upper Deck & Panini seem to be doing a little better in the customer service department. Just today I got a message that they shipped out my replacement for my 6 Star Steven Stamkos from Titanium. I thought well guess they sent me a pile of junk but logged in to my Panini account and discovered they are sending me a replacement of the same card! they just restamped the replacement with the serial number I sent in and destroyed the damaged one. Did not expect that!

For the 100th time some people in the hobby cease to amaze me. That card they did send you is worth 100s of dollars and they were nice enough to send you a FREE card and you're still complaining about what to do? You got lucky with what you got. Extremely lucky. If I was the UD employee I would have ignored you and led you on your merry way.
The only thing I sympathize with you here is that you had to wait so long for your card and I personally would not have waited so long and I would most likely have asked for a replacement after a couple of months of waiting. So clearly you have more patience than I do, but asking for something more when you got more than what you should have got in the first place is a little immoral in my opinion. I would send the people at UD a nice christmas card or a care package of some sort b/c they went way out of their way with you.Last edited by chakhae1; 09-13-2012 at 05:10 AM.

On a most positive note it does show that UD does care and obviously you were polite with them or you wouldn't have gotten compensated at all. So at least UD is taking the time to make their customers happy.

give me a break...
imagine you spend well over 2000$ on a case of the cup, the best card you pull is a redemption. One year later this card finally arrives damaged, with a 10$ card as compensation for knowingly sending a damaged card.
you would be just fine with that and think "oh well... maybe next time" ?

Are you kidding me? They sent you the card and as has been mentioned in this thread and from the scan you can hardly notice the damage. You are acting like that all you got was the mjp auto rookie which you clearly did not. And it's the luck of the draw when it comes to busting high end wax and with redemptions. You complained about something you shouldn't have and that's my opinion.
