If you are in need of Yzerman or Sakic, I have some stingy Inserts/Parallels that are quite attractive to any collection.

I was an Yzerman Super Collector before his first Jersey card in 1996-97. I still have over 1,000 different Yzerman cards left.

Alright thanks, haven't quite decided yet... I want something to do over the lockout!

    Go Vintage....

The more labour trouble, the more newer, overpriced cards are in jeopardy of falling off the map in terms of price.

I'm not a huge fan of vintage. It's nice and all, but the prices it's at are the prices it's at, most of it being expensive. Having owned 71/72 OPC, I know how gorgeous those cards are. But, that being said they are very easy to fake as well. I'm also a sucker for patches :P

if its someone your not going to collect for the rest of your life, ie. you can see yourself changing PC's again at some point, dont aim for a player that will be hard to move. I chose Robbie Earl on the leafs when I was in college/uni. Managed to build up a pretty sick PC, even had his Cup Black 1/1 rookie. When I sold it I probably got about 50% back of what I paid (260$ alone I paid for the Black, got about 100$ back for it as Im pretty sure I was the world's only Earl collector)

    Just some food for thought!

Hence why I went with OEL... it was only a matter of time before he came through... he's the next Lidstrom.

Just for the fun factor, I like your idea of an rc of every 10-12 goalie...so many, and can be had for cheap, plus a lot of the modern goalies have sick looking paint/graphics on their masks if your into the aesthetic appeal of cards.

Yeah, it'd also give me a lot of variety too. We will see how it plays out!
