Benghazi
http://cnsnews.com/news/article/stat...responsibility
If it wasn't already clear enough, it is now undeniable that the President and his administration have been lying about what happened that night that 4 Americans lost their lives.
This is interesting as well:

Was Stevens involved in running guns into Libya? Maybe the motive for the lie.Last edited by AUTaxMan; 10-24-2012 at 10:07 AM.

Sorry, foreign policy isn't that cut and dry. Anytime stuff like this happens, radical groups often scramble to claim responsibility. Plus, groups like this are often factions of larger groups. Even if Ansar-al-Sharia claims responsibility and actually did do it, are they part of a larger group? Are they affiliated with any other terror groups? Who is running it? There are 8 billion questions that need to be answered, and I don't want my administration scrambling to assess blame to someone. That's why people do investigations. Frankly, I don't understand why people are making such a huge deal out of this. Let the investigation run its course.

It's not about who is claiming responsibility or who is responsible. It is about the fact that we know it was a terrorist attack of some sort, and the administration tried to pass it off as some protest that got out of hand, which is clearly not the case.

I didn't get that feeling at all. He called it a terrorist attack the day after it happened. To me, people are making a mountain out of mole hill here. I'd rather a detailed investigation happen than an uninformed overreaction.

The GOP reaction to this is all political, nothing more. They are a disgrace.

He did not call it a terrorist attack. He made a policy statement about terrorist attacks in general, then he sent Rice on a speaking tour make sure everyone knew that it was the video and not a terrorist attack.

To me, that is REALLY stretching. He says "no act of terror will" blah blah blah. One can infer he was lumping this attack in with a "terrorist act". Otherwise, why would he even say the words?

Then why did Rice and Jay Carney expressly deny that it was a terrorist attack for two weeks afterwards, and why did Obama specifically blame it on the video in his address to the United Nations? This is indefensible.Last edited by AUTaxMan; 10-24-2012 at 11:01 AM.

anything said negative about obama will be viewed as inaccurate or a lie, it is part of the game they have been playing.
the shame is 4 Americans died and both sides blame the other
i wonder why they want to seal his records for the last 4 years?
