Class of 2016
While I am still celebrating President Obama's victory last night it is not too early to project to 2016. Who are the prospects to look out for the the 2016 Presidential election? Who would you like to see run? Who shouldn't run? What would be your dream matchup? Will the republicans ever try moderation or will they continue with the same old useless garbage that results them in getting their backside kicked?

I hope I'm wrong but I think the next four years will look a lot like the last four. Republicans will continue to be more worried about the next election than the actual job the people have given them.

Republicans... Moderates like Jeb Bush and Chris Christie will suddenly have to go HARD right (like romney) to compete with people like Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, and Sarah Palin (all wil run in 2016)
Dems... Joe Biden will run but not win... Hillary Clinton will be the nominee.. others running might include Corey Booker, Ed Randel, the former Gov. of Montana, etc etc

What of the Republicans splitting in two. There seems to be a good number of moderate Reps in addition to the Tea Partiers. What if the split. Would more people who voted Dem this time be more inclined to vote Rep if the hard line right wingers were gone.

If I had to bet on it today, I say that Marco Rubio is your next president.

I honestly thought Sarah Palin would do that in 2012 and Obama would win a landslide... didn't happen. Maybe in 2016 if she loses and Christie or Bush is the nominee

I think it will be between Clinton and Rubio in 2016. If the Republicans participate in immigration reform, the presidential race will be a close one. If there is no progress on immigration over the next four years Clinton will win easily.

She recently said she wasn't planning on running, so there's at least a possibility that she won't.
