That Mike Comrie Titanium like Zerdev, now struggles to get $4.00. The Topps Heritage won't sell for a buck.
There are as many Comrie Bagholders are there were with Patrik Stefan or Pavel Brendl.

This is my favorite Blast post yet!! I bought a box of Private Stock off eBay when it was released for some astronomical sum and I was heartbroken not to pull a DiPietro RC.............

I remember the Comrie rookie card hysteria in Edmonton back then. There was a rumor his dad (who owned a chain of furniture stores) was buying all the Titanium rookies he could find.

Just amazing how expensive Rick DiPietro cards was then, just curious how much will one copy for his Private Stock RC be selling in nowadays? $30-$40 is my guess
Comrie, Tanguay, Havlat cards has also dropped much in value.
IMO rookie cards are overrated because it's impossible to know how the player will be going for 3-5 years from its releases of their
RC cards.
Imagine if Joe Juneau had his rookie campaign at 10-11 or 09-10 and his RC, ARP's etc card would be selling for $3000-$8000 and up but only to decline tremendously in value after some seasons because he couldn't following his stunning 102-point season as a rookie in the rest of his career..
RC cards has been extremely overvalued since the end of 90's when UD started to producing short printed RC's and extremely risky because many RC's tends to have strong 2-3 first seasons and only to falling deeper and yet deeper into oblivion.

Last I heard, his old man had some ridiculous number like 65 of them. I'm sure within 5 years he will have them all because they are basically like a Pokey Reddick 90-91 Score Card - Worthless.
Tanguay and Simon Gagne are almost that bad now. At least they still have a loyal following that follows them around to keep everyone of their cards just slightly out of the $1.00 bin on a continual basis.
