Not sure what you are referring to by the bolded text? As for the rest; yes, it's far less egotistical to think we came about the same way every other species did, than to think some "God" made this world FOR US.

You do realize that, under creationism we are made the same way the animals are...

habs, I would not argue with that, but would say, my idea of God is the singularity that everything came from and we are all a part of. where He (not that He is a man or even male) came from is not known, which would be reasonable to think we cannot discover the source of all things, the beginning.
Thinking we were created rather than an accident is reasonable and has nothing to do with logic. Logic does not always equal anti-religious theories and hypothesis.
They both can compliment each other quite nicely.

You could talk yourself into a hooker if both your hands were in casts. Lol. No and No is the answer. You cannot have logic and fairty-tales. Logic is predicated by fact.

I do realize that. However the PURPOSE of our creation differs greatly from the purpose of everything else, under "Creationism". That is the point I am trying to make.

Our purpose is defined by how we got here?
What is the purpose of humans under creationism and evolution? I didn't realize evolution had found the meaning of life. Tell us, don't hold it back!

it is an unknown single mass (that no one knows where it came from) it condensed so greatly (unknown reason why) it imploded on itself and created the universe. everything came from this unknown mass and it created space, time, and all physical things. some how it these physical particles gathered together to create planets. because our planet was located near a heat and light source and under perfect circumstances ( which derive from the unknown) water formed. this water mixed with various (unknown) elements and was struck by lightning (we think), which life was created (but this is unknown)
from there a bunch of perfect but yet unplanned circumstances led to life evolving until we popped out at the top of the chain.

A lot of unknowns for what's considered "fact"...

You are missing the point completely. Our purpose is defined by WHY we were created, not HOW.

habs, I have no issue with us being a freak accident, even if it were proven we were, it would not change who I am, the logic I follow, or lifestyle I live.

If you strip the NT to just the sayings of Jesus, there is nothing there that stops anyone from living a good life.

if Jesus was just a wise man, that is ok, His wisdom is worth following.

now with all that said I still believe we were created and not a freak accident

it kind of reminds me when I read people posting on here and they say they cannot say what they want for it is against the SCF rules, personally there are no rules here that stop me from posting what I feel.

    different strokes for different folks

No. My atheism isn't just based off of the big three religions. It's based off of the fact that nothing can be substantiated in the realm of the supernatural. Anyone can claim anything and have zero proof.
