Just Say Yes
If you have kids, you most likely prayed hard that they would avoid drugs and alcohol. Once a child becomes intoxicated, childhood is over. The young person will never be the same again. Thus, a sane society discourages...

So the solution is not to ban.....it's to....(I know you hate this word Bill, but I'm gonna say it).....REGULATE IT!

^Here you go....as you can see the mayor of Amsterdam will NOT ban tourists or "foreigners" as you called it to enter coffee shops. Furthermore, he has said that these people do NOT create a disturbance to the city.....and if they do or have, it's probably because they (the tourists) come from places like the U.S where they are paranoid about being caught with a stupid plant that they don't know how to act in a country that doesn't care if people smoke something that is many times less harmful than Tobacco!!!

First of all, there are NO schools in Netherlands that allow any students to smoke weed in school. The reason they made it "illegal" to smoke weed in school is more of a way to make it official.
Think of schools in America where they are called "drug free zones"......lol, as if there were such a thing as a legal "drug zone"!
Secondly, "drug addicts".....wow, that's a first. Because almost NO ONE becomes addicted to marijuana since it's NOT an addictive drug.

Because I can actually show you stats of how the decriminalization of drugs in Portugal has indeed WORKED! (BTW Bill you moronic buffoon....they did NOT legalize drugs, there's a HUGE difference between "decriminalization" and "legalization"!)

^There has been a MAJOR reduction of addicts.....reports show up to 50%
Portugal's drug usage is also one of the LOWEST in the EU!
Also, Drug related diseases and STD's including OVERDOSES have been reduced even lower than usage rates!!! (Bill you are a lying sack of potatoes!)

^The Swiss drug policy is actually a great model according to experts.
They exchange needles with clean ones and provide free methadone and the results have led to lower deaths, while crime rates have DECREASED!

Furthermore, here at the end you make a the same old tired argument that marijuana is a "gateway drug".
That has been debunked a million years ago, but then again in your world facts are things you make up, so it doesn't matter!

I'm sensible, I don't pray.

I don't want my kids to avoid drugs and alcohol. I want them to be informed and logical so they can make smart decisions regarding drugs and alcohol.
Also, if I did want them to avoid drugs and alcohol and all I did was pray and shield them from drugs and alcohol, I'd be a pretty lousy parent.

I have to agree praying is not enough, educating your children of the bad of alcohol and drugs is a good way to learn.

Pray?
According to the christian god....he has given us "free will" which means that he CAN'T interfere with our lives, because that is a direct violation of "free will".
When you pray, you are asking for divine intervention.....do you see the problem?
OH WAIT.....that's right, the Christian god does NOT follow logic, therefore he has given us free will but he can intervene at the same time.
Yup...that makes sense.

alex, again you show your limited knowledge and bias opinion of Christianity. Prayer simply means we are talking to God, confiding in Him, venting with Him, not all of us are asking for favors. Personally, even if God did favors, I am sure I am unworthy of getting one. I view prayer as my acknowledging Him and try to keep Him on my mind as much as possible, helps me stay focused.
if you are using logic, it seems to be flawed.
and funny how you will use free will when you are trying to put something down, otherwise you say it can't exist.
