Another Zimmerman?
42 year old man sees three people trying to enter cars in his neighborhood.
While his wife dials 911, the man loads his gun and heads outside. The three people are across the street at his neighbors, so he goes across the street. He pulls out his gun and tells them to freeze until the police arrive.
One of the three yells somerhing along the lines of "I'll get him" and charges at the man with the gun who shoots and kills the attacker.
The 42 year old black man, that is built like a football player, is charged with manslaughter for the death of the 16 year old white teenager.
Guilty or not guilty?

If stand your ground is law then not guilty. I don't understand why it's such a hard concept...

Ha jeeze...that wasn't directed at you! And that's why I said If...

Is this a hypothetical? He is going to jail. New York has some notorious gun laws.Last edited by mrveggieman; 07-17-2013 at 03:03 PM.

So if I have this correctly, the guy with the gun pulls out the gun and tells these kids to freeze, then the one kid who goes after him gets shot? The guy with the gun has to be guilty, you can't just go pulling out a gun on people.
