Game Used Bats

I just wanted to see all the game bats at people on here over the years. You can also put tips on how you get them and anything else you would like.
I only have 1, it was given to me last year at the last game from my good friend, who is also the bat boy. I wasnt able to get it signed but it is still awesome.

Cool I've got 9 bats. I used to go to the Cape Cod Baseball League. Summer league baseball for the nation's best college players. Well they would do 50/50 raffles with lots of prizes. Top prize being the $ and then gift certificates and other stuff. But they also had game used broken bats as prizes. I used to buy $20 in tickets each time I'd go. Very lucky sometimes. Unfortunately no guys who really made it in the majors, but they played along side guys who made it so that's kind of cool. I'd imagine some of the guys I got are trolling around the minors perhaps?

I have gotten 1 broken bat from a player (actually he gave it to my daughter) in 6 years of attending AA games locally. We always sit next to the home dugout at field level. But that is because they have the players sign their broken bats then sell them for $20.

I have purchased a few over the years of players that I felt would make it....Paul Goldschmidt, Matt Reynolds, Justin Upton, etc...

I'm at 38 game used, three auto'd, one minor league team signed, and a STL Cardinals promo bat signed by a few players. My favorites and biggest names in my game used are Allen Craig, Todd Helton, Torii Hunter, Gary Sheffield, Luis Gonzalez, David Justice, and 3x Craig Paquette (one Cardinals, Royals, A's). I have always loved the looks of game used bats. I do believe that cracked bats have more character to them even. The problem is that I never have purchased one as they seem to take a ton of space to display when you can stack baseballs in cubes. The only reason for my post besides saying congrats to those who have a real nice collection and shared with us, is to suggest where to get them. I have been to multiple minor league ballparks who have sold them in their giftshops. They always seemed very reasonable. They are not much more than buying an official baseball. I have been shocked that a few teams sell their old jerseys in the gift shop as well. Those that I have ran across seemed too expensive for my taste.
