HOF Question?
Not sure if this belongs here...but.......
Scotty Bowman was inducted into the HHOF in 91 as a "Builder"...
my question is...
if YOU were doing a HHOF project and had the chance to get Bowman on this said HHOF project would you? why or why not?
Thanks

I would.... I'd say for any "builder" that has a licensed auto, or whatever you're after, is certainly worthy of being in a Hall of Fame project.

Scotty and Toe Blake are probably the two most successful coaches in Hockey history. He belongs as much as any great player.

HOF autos is something I always look to add to my collection. When I'm buying or seeking them in trade - it's usually becuase other stuff I'm working on has been slow (and I'm board) but adding one I don't have, when approached about a trade, is always something I like to do.
Bowman is part of my collection. I'll add anyone (Player, Builder, Ref, Broadcaster) that's in.

I'd add him to a HHOF collection. He changed the game more than most players, and is an essential part of hockey history.

I agree with everyone as well. One of the most (if not the most) successful coach in NHL history. Roger Neilson is another coach I would consider as one I would consider as having made a huge impact on the game even though he never won a Stanley Cup as a coach. With that said, I'm not sure what he has for certified autos (if any).
