He's not supposed to. But I believe he did in regards to immigration.
Here's a snipet...
Only Congress can lay down specifics such as in order to avoid deportation and qualify for a two-year work visa, one must have entered the U.S. prior to age 16 and possess a valid American high school diploma or be a military veteran, as the president now requires. By altering the law in this manner -- by constructing the requirements the government will impose -- the president has violated his oath to enforce the laws as they are written. His second responsibility in the Constitution (the first is to defend the Constitution) is to enforce federal laws as Congress has written them -- hence the employment of the word “faithfully” in the Constitution -- not as he wishes them to be.

This is the problem with the liberal gov't. It's not their job to take care of us and our neighbors, it's our own. It is the goal of the progressives though. Control.

Easy. It takes money to fund all of these programs. The Federal Government collects the money and distributes it how they want. By allowing states and individuals to keep more of their money, they get to determine how it should be spent and the Federal government has less to distribute. Less money, means less corruption and less power. That's why establishment Republicans aren't all that unhappy about the way things are. More money flowing into Washington gives them more power, more influence, and in the end, more wealth for themselves.
The key difference is that States can't print their own money. The Federal Government has been distributing over $1 trillion per year that they don't collect in taxes from individuals, corporations, or states. They just print the money, hand it out to whoever they decide is deserving and gives the IOU to future generations. States cannot do that.

That's just what I was beginning to think, but this is America and EVERYONE is entitled to his or her opinion. That is one thing that hopefully will not change, but under Obama you just never know.

By "out there" I was referring to the entire country, not your particular neighbourhood.

Your neighbor does not represent the entirety of all liberals.
Hell, when I lived on campus in UF, I saw many conservative houses that flew the Confederate flag as opposed to the American flag.....does that mean every conservative share that stupid mindset?
I highly doubt that.

Actually, many of them (I was in UF in 2007-2008) had campaign posters on their lawns for McCain/Palin...
And get real man....outside of South Florida, Tampa, and Orlando the overwhelming majority of the state of Florida is conservative Republican.
Liberals (the majority of them anyways) don't fly the DISGUSTING confederate flag......that's a southern conservative/republican thing.
